FSM is a Zambian startup created by education professionals committed to solving Zambia’s foundational learning crisis through practical and evidence-based solutions.

As an emerging Zambian nonprofit startup, FSM offers development partners, foundations, philanthropists, and corporate donors the opportunity to support innovative, locally led solutions with the potential for significant long-term impact. This support will help us expand literacy interventions such as African Storybook for Zambia while developing future numeracy innovations that address foundational learning challenges at scale.

Our work strengthens teacher capacity, leverages existing education structures, and promotes community ownership to create lasting change.

We address the underlying causes of learning poverty in the early grades rather than focusing solely on remediation after learners have fallen behind.
